Ribbed Smoked Sheet(RSS) - Rubber Sheet

Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS) / Briquette Ribbed Smoked Sheet is a primary natural rubber sheet which passed the production process by heat aging, using smoke derived from combustion to simultaneously fumigate and coat the rubber surface, and then grade and classify the rubber quality according to the extensive common requirements, such as dirt, bubble, colour, and colour uniformity, mixed substances, and moldiness. However, three quality grades of RSS, popular for using in downstream industry markets, manufactured by the Company are Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4 RSS according to the descending grade of rubber quality, respectively

Usage :

It is molded into the accessory requiring high elasticity and good impact resistance, for instance, truck tyre, aircraft tyre, and rubber engine mounting, etc.

Grading of rubber sheets

Rubber sheet grade 2

1. The surface must be clean throughout, with minimal presence of air bubbles.
2. Moisture content within the rubber sheet should not exceed 2%.
3. Demonstrates excellent flexibility with clear patterns.
4. The rubber sheet is quite thin. The thickness of the rubber sheet does not exceed 4 millimeters.
5. The rubber must be dry and even in color, with the whole sheet being dark in color or there may be a few small black spots.
6. Average weight per sheet ranges from 1 to 1.2 kilograms.
7. The rubber sheet is rectangular in shape, resembling fabric, with widths ranging from 38 to 46 centimeters and lengths from 80 to 90 centimeters.

Rubber sheet grade 3

1. The surface must be clean throughout, with minimal presence of air bubbles.
2. Moisture content within the rubber sheet should not exceed 3%.
3. Demonstrates excellent flexibility with clear patterns.
4. The rubber sheet is quite thick. The thickness of the rubber sheet does not exceed 4 millimeters.
5. The dry rubber material has a relatively dark color and is somewhat opaque.
6. Average weight per sheet does not exceed 1.5 kilograms.
7. The rubber sheets are rectangular in shape, resembling fabric, with widths ranging from 38 to 46 centimeters and lengths from 80 to 90 centimeters.

Rubber Sheet Grade 4

1. The surface must be clean throughout, with minimal presence of air bubbles.
2. Moisture content within the rubber sheet should not exceed 4.5%.
3. Demonstrates excellent flexibility with clear patterns.
4. The rubber sheets are thick, with a thickness not exceeding 4 millimeters.
5. The dry rubber material has a solid dark color and is not translucent.
6. Average weight per sheet does not exceed 1.5 kilograms.
7. The rubber sheets are rectangular in shape, resembling fabric, with widths ranging from 38 to 46 centimeters and lengths from 80 to 90 centimeters.
